LAURA GOODNIGHT -
Laura Goodnight is the Senior Commercial Accounts Manager and a member of BPIA’s Management Team. She and her family moved from Texas to the Bay Area in 2005.   Laura then walked into BPIA’s door with over 20 years Personal and Commercial lines experience and joined the team.

She enjoyed steady advancement, over 18 years, representing The Hartford Insurance Company in San Antonio, Texas. She held numerous positions during her time at Hartford: Records Supervisor, Billing Rep, Account Associate, Customer Care Specialist, Select Customer Underwriter and ultimately, Commercial Lines Underwriter. Laura also worked for Benchmark Insurance Group for 2+ years as a Personal Lines Account Manager.

Laura’s expansive insurance knowledge, exceptional client service and people skills are an inspiration for the entire team. She is directly responsible for the Commercial Account Services Representatives. She ensures that our client’s insurance needs are met with efficiency, exceptional quality and always with a smile.

Laura, when not traveling, reading, and golfing or water skiing enjoys hanging out at the lake with family and her 3 pugs (Caddy, Bogey & Bunker).

MICHELLE FEENEY -
Michelle Feeney, Commercial Accounts Manager, has been working in the insurance field over 7 years. She started her career working with a small family owned Farmer’s Insurance office, that focused on auto and homeowners policies. Michelle joined BPIA in 2004 as a commercial line assistant to the founding officers, Debbie Upland and Virginia Fontana. She consistently demonstrated her value as she honed her abilities. Michelle was, in 2005, promoted to Commercial Accounts Manager.

Michelle believes in knowing and understanding her clients’ needs to nurture long term relationships. She is responsible for supporting commercial clients with any and all services, including certificates, proposals and billing questions.

Michelle’s vivacious personality keeps the BPIA team laughing. She enjoys cooking and testing recipes on her new husband.

MICHELE JALILIE -
Michele Murphy Jalilie started as an Administrative Assistant for BPIA in 2005. She rapidly advanced to Customer Service Representative and is now a licensed Commercial Account Manager. Michele is client-driven, focused on understanding the clients’ business and their unique needs.

Michele, a native New Yorker, shares her penchant for Dunkin Donuts and Giants baseball with her husband and young son.

SANDEE NOVELLO -
Sandee has worked as an Assistant Customer Service Representative for the past 10 years and is one of the Founders of BPIA. She started out working with Commercial Account Managers on small to medium size accounts and is now the assistant for large accounts. Sandee trains new hires on the BPIA servicing standards. She is our vessel for excellence and quick wit.

Sandee prides herself on follow-up and issuing certificates the same day. She takes the additional step of reviewing all certificates. Sandee’s “second look” ensures that the insurance requirements are compatible with our clients’ financial needs and current policies. Sandee protects and communicates your best interests.

The BPIA team can count on being well-fed if Sandee is in the kitchen. She‘s a wonderful cook and Italian cuisine is her forte.

TABATHA SUTTER -
Tabatha Sutter, Assistant Customer Service Representative, joined the BPIA team in January 2006.

Tabatha, originally from Los Angeles, worked for an independent Prudential Real Estate agent.  After her move to the Bay Area she worked as a Customer Service Technical Assistant for Sony PlayStation in Foster City. 

Tabatha’s cheery clear voice may be the first voice our clients hear when calling BPIA. She will ensure that you are directed to the correct BPIA team member. Tabatha works closely with Sandee Novello and handles special projects for BPIA’s Management team.

Tabatha balances career and motherhood (2 teenage sons) with physical activity. She enjoys running and has boundless energy.
